Free trial process
A short version of how your complimentary visit works. Prefer the campaign page? Start on Free Trial.
1 · Choose a class
Match age and experience on the first-class guide, then confirm the time on the weekly schedule. Kids 4–5 at 4:30 PM; kids 6+ at 5:00 PM; adults at 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM.
2 · Reach out if you want — or just come
Call or text (623) 806-5389, email Contact@steadfastjj.com, or use the contact form with questions. Walk-ins for a complimentary first class are welcome too.
3 · Show up a little early
Bring a water bottle. Staff will help with check-in and the waiver before you train — online waiver sign isn't published yet.
Full prep by age band lives on the first-class guide. Times are on the schedule.
Watching a class first
Families with kids ages 4–5 are welcome to sit and watch part of a class before a trial. It's optional for ages 6+ and adults — useful if you want to ease first-day nerves.

FAQ
Common questions
I don't have any martial arts experience. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Everybody starts somewhere. Beginners are welcome in kids and adult classes — you will not be thrown to the wolves on day one. Mention that you're new on the contact form so we can point you to the right class.
What do I need for my first class?
Comfortable athletic clothes and a water bottle. Flip-flops or slides help for walking to and from the mats. If you already have a Gi and you're coming to a Gi class, you're welcome to wear it — otherwise athletic clothes are fine.
Which class should I try first?
Kids ages 4–5 train at 4:30 PM; kids ages 6+ at 5:00 PM (Monday–Thursday). Teens and adults can try 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday). Gi is Mon/Wed/Fri; No-Gi is Tue/Thu. Details live on the First Class and Schedule pages.
Do I have to come to every class?
No. Consistent training helps you improve faster, but you can jump back in after a missed day. Show up when you can.
Interested — but feeling a little intimidated?
Most people who walk in for the first time have never trained martial arts. That's fine here. You won't be thrown to the wolves — your complimentary first visit is a chance to feel the room, not prove anything.
